FIMOZOL

INDICATIONS:

• Fimozol nasal spray suspension contains mometasone, a corticosteroid that has a marked anti-inflammatory effect on mucous membranes, particularly those of the nose.
• It thus helps to relieve the symptoms of allergic rhinitis (hay fever) such as sneezing, itching, and a stuffy nose, as well as chronic rhinitis.
• It is also used for the symptomatic treatment of nasal polyps in adults.

DOSAGE:

• Allergic or chronic rhinitis:
  Children aged 3 to 11 years: 1 spray in each nostril, in the morning.
  Adults and children over 12 years: 2 sprays in each nostril, once a day, in the morning.
• Nasal polyps in adults:
  Adults over 18 years: 2 sprays in each nostril, once a day. If the effect is insufficient after 5 to 6 weeks, the dosage may be increased to 2 sprays in each nostril, twice a day.
