Prevention of thrombotic events (myocardial infarction, stroke)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
DOSAGE:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Loading dose of clopidogrel: 300\u2013600 mg\/day<\/li>\n
Maintenance dose: 75 mg\/day<\/li>\n
Duration of treatment: optional, up to 12 months after an acute coronary syndrome in combination with acetylsalicylic acid<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
MECHANISM OF ACTION: <\/strong>CLOPICO 75 is a specific inhibitor of platelet aggregation. A prodrug whose active metabolite selectively inhibits the binding of adenosine diphosphate (ADP) to its platelet receptor P2Y12, thus inhibiting platelet aggregation. The active metabolite also acts by inhibiting platelet aggregation induced by agonists other than ADP by blocking the amplification of platelet activation induced by released ADP.<\/p>\n<\/body>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
