INDICATIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n

In patients with type 2 diabetes, GLYXIA M is indicated to improve glycemic control, as an adjunct to diet and exercise:<\/li>\n
In patients inadequately controlled on metformin alone at the maximum dose<\/li>\n
In combination with a sulfonylurea (triple therapy) when the maximum tolerated doses of metformin and a sulfonylurea do not achieve adequate glycemic control<\/li>\n
As an add-on to insulin (triple therapy) when insulin and metformin alone, at stable doses, do not achieve adequate glycemic control<\/li>\n
In triple therapy with a peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-gamma (PPAR\u03b3) agonist (thiazolidinedione) when the maximum tolerated doses of metformin and the PPAR\u03b3 agonist do not achieve adequate glycemic control.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
DOSAGE: <\/strong>The dosage of the antihyperglycemic treatment with GLYXIA-M must be adjusted for the patient based on their current treatment, efficacy, and tolerability, without exceeding the maximum recommended daily dose of 100 mg of sitagliptin.<\/p>\n<\/body>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
