Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in financial management within the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Familiarity with GAAP and SEC regulations and guidelines
- Proficiency in financial software such as Oracle, SAP, or Hyperion
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all aspects of financial management including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Developing and implementing financial strategies that align with the company's long-term goals
- Managing and leading a team of finance professionals to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Analyzing financial data and providing insights to senior management on areas for improvement
- Ensuring effective internal controls and risk management processes are in place
- Coordinating with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed
